When we breathe out why does the air passage not collapse?

The air passage or trachea is made up of C-shaped cartilaginous rings that prevents the air passage from collapsing during exhalation.

Because Cartilage is present in throat which do not allows air cavity to collapse

When we breathe out the air inside our trachea or wind pipe also goes out .But trachea does not collapse because there are rings of muscles around our trachea and are called cartilage which prevent it from collapsing .
