When 50 cm3 of a strong acid is added .to 50 cm3 of an alkali, the temperature rises by 5°C. If 250 cm3 of each liquid are mixed, the temperature rise would be 25°C 20°C 5°C 10°C
Dear Student
Suppose 50 cm3 of a strong acid is added to 50 cm3 of an alkali in 5 different containers, the temperature will increase by 5°C in each container. After mixing the solution of all container, the temperature will remain unchanged i.e. the temperature will increase by 5°C after mixing 250 cm3 of each.
