whatare the differences between pinhole camera images and shadows?

Differences are:

1. A pinhole camera image is a real image formed at the screen when light from an object is passed through a pin hole. A real image forms at the point where the light rays actually meet. But a shadow is an area with no light formed because of an obstruction to the path of light.

2. A shadow forms is erect while an image cast of screen by a pinhole camera is inverted.

3. An image formed by a pinhole camera contains information about the color of the object while a shadow of an object contains no color information.

pinhole camera images are formed when the light passes through a pin hole to form an inverted image even though the images are dark without colour they are not formed the way shadows are ;

shadows are formed when an object blocks the path  of light and that area where light does not reach forms a black patch hope this helps:)
