What would happen if a plant cell didn't have a cell wall?

Solution:

In the cells of some organisms the plasma membrane is surrounded by a layer called cell wall. The plant cell wall is made up of cellulose which gives them gives rigidity, strength and structure. Cell wall also provide support, strength and protection to the plant. If there is no cell wall than the plant will be more vulnerable to the harsh environment and will not be able to stay stiff and erect. The cell wall also directs the passage of water and dissolved substances in and out of the cell in the absence of cell wall the diffusion of various substances will also be affected.
