what traits of virginia's character are reflected when she is moved at the ghost's plight and agrees to plead for mercy for him?

Dear student

Virginia displays a large amount of trust and bravery when agreeing to pray for the ghost. She trusts him when he says that it may seems scary but she will be completely fine, and trusts him when he says that she cannot be harmed. She shows bravery when she steps through the portal into the garden of death, even when the little figurines above the fire place warn her not to go. Virginia also displays sympathy and kindness as she readily agrees to help the ghost get his absolution.
