The life of a mango tree is more than 100 years. It depends upon the breed, climate and the environment.
mangoes are zone 9 or south. i have two. they bloom in December to January here in Florida. if you don't get a cold snap you'll be picking them in April. i do have a problem with squirrels. the little buggers will go get them after they get color in them. so i pick mine after they get just a blush of color and they will ripen off of the tree in a squirrel-proof area. so that would be Tampa or south, and some parts of out west.
