what is the difference between movement and locomotion?
Dear Student!
Movement is wide term that includes both change in position and no change in position. If the movement leads to the change of position of the body with respect to any other body, it is called locomotion. For example, while standing, when you wave your hand to your friend who is stationary, it is a movement without change in position of the body. When you run towards him, this would cause a change in position and this movement would be called locomotion.
@others: Very good! Keep up the good work.
