What is the basic difference between conidia and aplanospores

Dear student,
Refer below for above asked query:-

Conidia or conidiospores are non-motile asexual spores in fungi formed and borne on tips of specialized stalks, conidiophores that arise from hyphae. The conidia are budded resulting in the formation of chain of conidia which usually remain connected. They are formed only in Basidiomycetes and Ascomycetes such as AspergillusPenicillium as a result of asexual reproduction i.e. mitosis. The diagram below shows conidia in Penicillium.

Aplanospore is an asexual and non-motile spore formed within a cell. Aplanospore is present in green algae and some fungi.
