Respiratory alkalosis is a condition where there occurs imbalance in the level of CO2 and O2 inside our body. This leads to a disturbance in the acid-base balance. Symptoms include elevated arterial pH, hyperventilation etc. It may occur due to increased rate of respiration, decrease in net renal acid excretion etc.
