what is optative sentences?

Hello Ankit,
An optative sentence is one that expresses a wish, hope, or desire. We usually end an optative sentence with a full stop, but again, if we want to show that the words are being spoken with strong emotion, then we can use an exclamation mark.

For instance:
-  Hurray! My results are out!
-  What a beautiful house!
-  What a great party!

Hope, with the above explanation and the examples, your doubt was cleared.

Cheers!
