What is meant by Unipositive and Dipositive ion?

Ions are charged species carrying either positive or negative charges.

Unipositive ion is the ion carrying one unit of positive charge. Example is Na⁺.

Dipositive ion is the ion carrying two units of positive charge. Example is Ca²⁺.
