What is Apogamy and apospory? 

Apogamy is a type of plant reproduction in which sporophyte (diploid phase) is produced from the gametophyte (haploid phase) without fertilization. It occurs in some type of ferns.

Apospory is the development of gametophyte directly from sporophyte without formation of spores. It is also seen in mosses and ferns. Both apospory and apogamy are considered as the abnormalities of plant life cycle.

 Apogamy is development of an embryo without fertilization; especially the development in some ferns of a sporophyte from the gametophyte without fertilization.
