The era ushered in a holistic and ecological view,looking at the world as an integrated whole rather than a collection of disparate elements. Industry played an important part in this shift due to its chief concern being resources and how to use them in a sustainable manner.
Industry had a crucial role to play in the new Era of Responsibility because as manufacturers and major resource users, only those in industries could bring about a transformation.
