what different values do you think Kushwant Singh learnt from his grandmother during his formative years in village

Dear Student,

The narrator and his grandmother were good friends. In that small village, he learnt values of togetherness and real happiness.  Since his grandmother was religious, he was also instilled with religious values. His grandmother taught him to value the very essence of life - family. Even though he was alienated from her, still he was the only one who could understand her loneliness and alienation when they moved to the city.

Regards.
