what are the views of fundamentalists regarding religion?

a. The ideology of Religious fundamentalism is certainly based on negative connotation of religion.
b. Fundamentalist argue in favour of their religion and consider its as supreme.
c. They hold cynical and critical view about other religions and its aspects.
d. They are rigid in their approach and believe in enforcing their religious beliefs and views on others.
e. Their ideology is certainly communal in nature as they consider religion as the principal basis of social community. All the followers of one religion belong to one community and their basic interests are the same. They consider their religious interests as mutually hostile , incompatible and antagonistic with that of another religious group.
f. Fundamentalist try to impose their beliefs on others and generally resort to violence and religious persecution
g. It is in fact, an extremist approach towards religion.
h. We may give example of tensions in Myanmar between Buddhist and Muslims minority, such ethnic strife is based on religious fundamentalism.
