Some problems faced by archaeologists are
1. Very often, remains of the past remain buried under inhabited areas in cities and villages. Archaeologists cannot dig under those areas. Hence, they cannot explore such areas.
2. They have to go to remote areas to dig up for remains of the past.
3. While looking for remains of the past, they may get caught up in the middle of violence and wars.
4. When they dig up some artefacts of the past, they face the problem of accurately dating them.
