these competitions give equal opportunities to all citizens irrespective of their cast,race,place of birth,gender to elect their leaders.also leaders are selected as per the choice of citizens

  1. Misuse of govt. money by current govt. leaders.
  2. Small party who want to give for the society do not do any thing.

THERE ARE SEVERAL MERITS AND SEVERAL DEMERITS TOO FOR ELECTORAL COMPETITION BUT HAVING ELECTORAL COMPETITION IS GOOD FOR THE PEOPLE AS PEOPLE CAN CHOOSE BETWEEN SEVERAL LEADERS  WHO THEY WANT TO MAKE LAWS FOR THEM. ALSO, DUE TO ELECTORAL COMPETITION LEADERS HAVE FEAR IN THEIR MIND THAT IF THEY WILL NOT RAISE PUBLIC PROBLEMS NEXT TIME PUBLIC WILL NOT VOTE FOR THEM AND THEY WILL NOT COME TO POWER.
