2. For instance, the service sector in India employs many different kinds of people. At one end, there are limited number of services that employ highly skilled and educated workers
3. At the other end, there are a very large number of workers engaged in services such as shopkeepers, transport persons etc. These people barely manage to earn a living and yet they perform these services as there are no alternative opportunities of work available to them
4. Hence, only a part of the service sector or certain areas of this sector is growing prominence.
5. If we focus on employment percentage we can be able to determine the area where assistance for upliftment is required
