TOPIC;-DESCRIBE ANY OF THE HISTORICAL PLACES YOU HAVE VISITED.

Recently,after transfer of my father from West Bengal to Mysore,Karnataka.I had visited the Mysore Palace.It is located 5 km away from my house.Mysore Palace built by the Wodeyars is a royal destination for the tourists from all over the world.When i came to Mysore i felt quite strange because the language was not known to me.I had visited on August,2017.The architectural pieces,the walls,the royal throne,the doors were of a royal kind.The door was made from silver.The walls had picture engraved of the different victories of the ruler.Tipu Sultan also ruled in Mysore but was defeated in the Great Battle of Srirangapatnam in 1799.The palace had  an open view place to see race,fight etc.The light illumination of Mysore Palace in evening starts at 7pm to 9pm.The Mysore Palace has yellow lights fitted outside.On sundays,the light illumination program is there.I have seen the light illumination and it was awesome.To preserve the Mysore Palace and its heritage,the government authority has made it mandatory to remove footwear before entering to palace.Mysore Palace is one of the historical places that i have ever visited.
