sum = 25
let the numbers be x and 25 - x
product = 154
x(25 - x) = 154
25x - x2= 154
-x2​ + 25x - 154 = 0
x2- 25x + 154 = 0
when u factorisee,
x2​ - 11x - 14x+ 154 = 0
x (x - 11) - 14 (x - 11) = 0
(x -11) (x -14 ) = 0
so , x = 11 or x = 14.
so the two numbers are 11 and 14.

25x- x2=154
x2-25x+154 = 0
x2 - 11x - 14x+154 = 0
x(x-11) -14(x-11)
