Ratio of speed of 2 vehicles = 2 : 3

Let the speed of first vehicle be 2x km/hr

Let the speed of second vehicle be 3x km/hr

Distance covered by first vehicle in 3 hrs = 50 km.

Speed of first vehicle $= \frac{50}{3} km/hr.$

$∴ 2 x = \frac{50}{3} \Rightarrow x = \frac{50}{3 \times 2} \Rightarrow x = \frac{25}{3}$

So, speed of second vehicle $= 3 \times \frac{25}{3} km/hr.$

=25 km/hr

Let the distance covered by second vehicle in 2 hrs = y km

∴ Speed of second vehicle $= \frac{y}{2} km/hr.$

$∴ 25 = \frac{y}{2} \Rightarrow y = 50$

Thus, the distance covered by second vehicle in 2 hrs is 50 km.
