speed is max when the potential energy is minimum = 0 ie: at x = 0 or at x = 2

2 J = p.e + k.e = 0 + k.e

=> with max speed v => k.e = 2

½mv² = 2

=> v = √4 = 2 m/s

As velocity is maximum then kinetic energy will be maximum so potential energy should be minimum.
