"The economy of Rome was strong and well organised." Prove it

First of all its not just about Rome because there was no distinguished Rome in the history, it was the whole Roman Empire which shared a strong and well organised economy. The Roman Empire had a great economy. Imports and Exports were well organised, for example, many of the food ingredients such as olive oil, wine and cereals were exported in large quantities and precious metals, marble, spices which were deficient in Roman Empire were also imported in large quantities. Roman Empire was able to build a good economy because transport was relatively easy as the Mediterranean sea was in the middle of the empire. As we all know sea trade was and will be always the cheapest method of transportation so, there was no problem in transporting goods in the Roman Empire. Comparing all of these factors, we can say that the Roman Empire had a strong and well organised economy.
