Sustainable development is our moral duty .comment

With years of civilization passed, the human race is still struggling with the global issues of hunger and poverty. For instance, in cities like Firozabad, there exist colonies of bangle makers. The glittering bangles in the market do not reveal the story of the hands that constantly toil to make them. Engaged in the business of bangle-making for years, the young men and families of Firozabad have lost all hope. They live in poverty, working on furnaces round the clock in dingy cells that are detrimental to their health. The only way to come to a solution regarding such grave issues is through the goal of sustainable development. As humans, it is our moral duty to live a life that ensures a better future for the coming generation. However, the poor are caught in a vicious cycle of poverty and injustice. The authorities who should help them live a better life aid the middlemen that exploit the poor and the common public does not care or is simply not aware of the troubles of such people. To make this world a better place to live, we all should consider our moral obligations sincerely and be a helping hand to anyone who needs it.
