scientists proved that there are some microorganisms in space. so if we leave some organic matter in space will it get decomposed?

Dear student.

Microbes may be present in  International Space Station, as it bears the atmosphere for a microbe to survive. This is due to the reason that humans naturally carry different forms of microbes, so as a result of which many bacteria have been found on surfaces and inside the station where crew members live and work. These microbes can decompose organic matter if they are capable of the process of decomposition.

Space consists of hard vacuum and no atmosphere, as a result of which no life can survive there, so no microbes can inhabit there. Even if some recent research led to the discovery of the presence of any microbe, it has not been yet identified precisely.

Regards.
