Respected Meritnation experts,
Planets are said to have their own satellites. Do stars also have satellites? And can we call stars satellites of the planets?
Please answer as soon as possible.

Manasvi Goel

A?satellite?is a body that orbits another larger body (e.g. a moon is a?satelliteof a?planet). Conceptually a?planet?is asatellite?that orbits a star. So we can call planets as satellites of stars .
