Resistivity of a copper wire of length 2m is 1.7*10^-8 ohm meter. If the the wire is stretched to get a length of 4m then find the new resistivity.

Dear student,

Resistivity (Specific resistance) is Specific to material of the wire. It’s independent of dimensions of wire.

∴ Resisitivity remains same.
