Rational number 12by14 in standard form

Dear Student,
A rational number is said to be in standard form when it is expressed in the form of ab, where b  0 and a and b are co-prime numbers.Now, 12 and 14 aren't co-prime numbers - they have a common factor 2. 1214 = 6 × 27 × 2 = 67.Thus, 6 and 7 are co-prime numbers they have no common factor other than 1 and 7 0. 67 is in standard form.
