After DC×AC-- BC2

now , 
let O be point where the diagonals bisect each other perpendicularly ,

that is ,

2AO = AC AND 2BO = BD 
squaring both sides,

4AO2=AC2  AND 4BO2=BD2

AO2=AC2/4 AND BO2=BD2/4

then,
in tria.AOB ,

AB2= AO2 + BO2                                  by pythagores 

AB2=AC2/4 + BD2/4

AB2= [AC2+BD2]/4

4AB2=AC2+BD2 

HENCE PROVED :-]
