WHEN THE TUBER OF A POTATO IS FORMED UNDERGROUND, VEGETATIVE BUDS FORM . THESE BUDS HANG OUT , WAITING FOR THE RIGHT TIME TO GROW , SO IT INITIALLY GROWS WITH THE POTATO.THE SPROUTS OF THE POTATO GROW FROM THE BUDS .
