pls explain adverbs expressing affirmation and negation

The adverbs that are used to answer questions either in affirmative or negative are called adverbs of affirmation and negation respectively.

For example:

Affirmation:  positively, affirmatively, definitely, certainly, absolutely, undoubtedly. 

Negation: Contradictorily, never,  oppositionally
