In geometry, two figures are congruent if they have the same shape and size. More formally, two sets of points are called congruent if, and only if, one can be transformed into the other by an isometry, i.e., a combination of translations, rotations and reflections.

congruent means equal

 congruent means anything if they have same size and shape.for example blades of a fan etc..

 congruent means any object having same size and same shape is know as congruent ......

 If the shape and size of the objects match exactly, then they are said to be congruent to each other.
