both cn b xplaind wid d help of an example-

fittig reaction=  2(benzene attachd to a 1 Cl) + 2Na ----> diphenyl + 2 NaCl (IN D PRESENCE OF DRY ETHER)

wurtz-fittiig reaction= benzene attachd to 1 Cl + 2Na + ClCH3 -----> toluene + 2NaCl (IN D PRESENCE OF DRY ETHER)
