Toto was a very mischievous monkey. One day, when lunch was set on the dining table in the narrator's house, the narrator's family witnessed the full scale of Toto's mischiefs.  A large dish of pullao was there in the middle of the dining table. Toto was ruining the plate of pullao set on the table. When grandmother screamed at Toto, he threw a plate at her. He also threw water at one of the narrator's aunts. Then, seeing grandfather, he escaped  with the bowl of pullao. He ran to the nearby jackfruit tree and slowly ate the rice sitting on the tree. Unable to tolerate Toto's mischief, grandfather sold him back to the tonga driver for three rupees.
