Dear Student
Please find below the solution to your query
The Indian farmers were worried about the rebellion and sought the support of British government against the indigo planters. Fearing of another uprising like that of Revolt of 1857, Queen Victoria declared that Indigo plant not to be sown. As a result, Indigo commission was appointed to support the Indian peasants
The suggestions of the Indigo Commission were
1.  It held the planters guilty and took them to task for the cruel and rude treatment they used on indigo cultivators
2.  It was reported that indigo production was not quite profitable
3.  It was advised by the Commission to the ryots not to take up new contracts and fulfil only the existing contracts
