plant cell and animal cell both have centrosome ?

Dear student, The centrosomes are only present in animal cells but not in plant cells because in animals centrosome is needed to 1. initiate and regulate cell division. 2. and help in spindle formation during cell division, but in plant cell they are not needed during the cell division. Regards.
