optical and radio telescope are built on ground ,while x rays is only from satellite orbiting the earth. why?

Optical telescopes operate the light from the visible part of the electromagnetic spectrum while radio telescopes operate in the radio part of the electromagnetic spectrum. Since optical and radio waves can pass through the earth's atmosphere and reach the surface, ground telescopes are optical and radio telescopes. However, X-rays emitted from any astronomical object are absorbed in the atmosphere of the earth itself and does not reach the surface. But any satellite orbiting around the earth can receive these X-rays. Therefore X-ray astronomy is possible only from the satellites.
