Not every German was Nazi _ explain

During the period of Nazi rule in Germany, not every German was a Nazi. Within Germany, there was significant resistance against Nazism. One prominent example of such a resistance movement was the White Rose movement led by by a group of students and a professor at the University of Munich. This group started its resistance in June 1942 by distributing pamphlets against the atrocities that the Nazis were committing in Europe. They were found out the by Gestapo in February 1943 and arrested. Many members of the group were executed. Two prominent members of this group were  Hans Scholl and Sophie Scholl, who were brother and sister.
