Nana sold her tea at 65 per gram in 2006,which was 25% more then what it was in 2004.What was the price of tea in 2004?Please help experts.

let the price of tea per gram be Rs. 100 in 2004

it is 25% more in 2006.

therefore the price of tea in 2006 = Rs. 100+25 = Rs. 125

if price of tea in 2006 is Rs. 125 then price of tea in 2004 = Rs. 100

therefore if price of tea in 2006 is Rs. 65 then price of tea in 2004 =

thus the price of tea in 2004 is Rs. 52 per gram.
