name the pituitary hormone influencing leydig cells and sertoli cells present in human testis . explain the function of these cells.

Dear Student,

GnRH is the regulator of  luteinizing hormone (LH) secretion. Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) are the hormones secreted by anterior pituitary glands. In males, LH acts on Leydig cells and causes them to release androgens, which stimulate the process of spermatogenesis while the FSH acts on the Sertoli cells, which help in spermiogenesis.
