Kerosene, Coconut oil and mustard oil do not mix even on shaking. Why?

Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

Kerosene, mustard oil and coconut oil do not intermingle in water even after shaking because oils are non polar compounds while the water is a polar compound. Since, both the solute and solvent should be of one category only, so they do not mix or are immiscible.
