Is soda water acidic or basic?
Soda water is carbonated drink where, CO2 is dissolved in water to from carbonic acid hence it is acidic in nature. But it contains small amount of sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) which is a base and acts as mild antacid, so when we drink soda water, it reacts with the dilute HCl produced in stomach and neutralizes the acidity.
