In NCERT Textbook, the reaction for production of ammonia from atmospheric nitrogen involves the use of 8H+ and liberating H2 and 2NH3

But in the diagrammatic representation only 6H+are used and no liberation of H2

What does this mean??Is there anything wrong if we use 6H+ and liberate no H2 in the equation?

Only 6 H+ ions and 6 e- are required to form 2NH3 but 2e- are required to evolve one molecule of hydrogen as a part of enzyme catalyzed reaction mechanism. So, I would suggest you to write the equation with 8 H+ and liberation of H2.
