Sorry, the correct figure with Shaded region marked is: http://puu.sh/2e9xm

  • -6

i tried to write the answer but it says its too long

the answer is 6 cm2

Area of semicircle=1/2*pii*r^2 By Pythagoras theorem, BC=5 cm

  • 3

 Sem.BC=1/2 π *2.5*2.5 = 9.81 on rounding of to nearest 10 9.8

Area of triangle ABC=1/2*3*4 [half height*base]

=6 cm

  • -16

 Sem.BA = ½*3.14*3/2*3/2=3.5 cm

Sem.AC=1/2*3.14*2*2 =6.3

  • -10

 =3.5+6.3-(9.8-6.0)

=6 cm

  • 3

shaded area= ar.BA+ ar.AC-(ar.BC-ar.triangle ABC)

  • 3
