Dear Diary,
Today, I went in for my twelfth dental appointment. Do you know how much I regret not having taken care of my teeth more? I have written countless entries to you about my love for anything sweet. If I had known the world of pain those candies would put me through, I would have thrown them away before eating. I completely regret my laziness too. Why couldn't I at least have brushed my teeth more often and more thoroughly? I almost hated myself when I was lying on the dentist's chair, looking up his nose and feeling the drill bore deep into my molar. I was so careless! No more sweets, diary! That's my promise to you and to myself. I don't think I can take this pain any longer.
