I couldnot understand the difference between demonstrative adjectives and demonstrative pronouns ?

Demonstrative pronouns are used to point out the objects. Demonstrative pronouns take the place of nouns.

For example, That is the Red Fort.

Demonstrative adjectives are used with nouns.

For example, This book is mine.
