Last month my aunt decided to visit her parents...

Last month my aunt decided to visit her parents who lived in Assam. She was worried about my uncle but he assured her that he would be all right and would take care of himself. Reluctantly my aunt left giving a list of instructions to her husband. The next morning being a Sunday, my uncle decided  to cook his meal. He cut all the vegetables and started to cook. He was a good cook and knew how to cook. After a while he left the vegetables to cook on slow flame and went out to clean his bicycle in the meantime. He got so busy that he forgot all about the vegetables and realised only when one of his neighbour called out to say that he suspected that something was burning in the kitchen. My uncle rushed to the kitchen and in his attempt to save the vegetables he put oil in the pan. He turned off the flame and was relieved. But to his utter disappointment he found that he had poured machine oil on the vegetables. They looked weird and smelt awful. He threw them in the dust bin and decided to go out and have lunch that day.
