For a national bank, show that the bank conducts its deposit and loans operations within the country. Hence, all people who deposit their money in banks as well as the people who take loans from the bank are from within that country. Further, all branches of the bank are in the same country.

For a multinational banks, show that depositors and lenders can be from different countries. The branches of the bank are spread out over different countries.
