How to convert 0.11111...(recuring decimal) into fraction

let x = 0.111....(equation  1 )
(equation 1 ) _^x 10 ( because there is only one repeating term ) = 10 x = 1.111... ( equation 2 )
(equation 2 - equation 1) = 10 x =1.111....
                                          -      x =0.111....
                                                                                                              
                                               9 x =1.000....
                                                                       
 9 x  = 1
    x = 1/9   
    0.111....= 1/9
