How the excessive use of fossil fuels is a matter of environmental concern?

The excessive use of fossil fuels is a matter of evironment concern is because of the follwing reasons:-
1). As we know that the fossil fuel are non-renewable sources of energy and they take millions of years to form once again.Therefore they are not available to us for longer period of time.
2). Excessive use of fossil fuels can cause severe threat to our environment like; air pollution, acid rain, ozone layer depletion etc. As burning of these fossils fuels can produce a lot of harmful chemical(like sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide etc.) content which has a severe consequences to our environment.
3). Its excessive use(includes coal mining also) can affect the fertility of the land.
